CCSI Engaged Participants for Sustainability
Centre for Corporate Sustainability and Innovations (CCSI), Hang Seng Management College and Youth Square recently hosted an action-based seminar on exploring solutions and methodologies for sustainability via sustainable development mindset, design thinking and entrepreneurial spirit. The seminar was held on 5th June 2016 at the Youth Square in Hong Kong.
In the seminar, Ms. Anita Negri, External Advisor of United Nations PRME & President of oikos International and Dr. Shirley Yeung, Director of CCSI, explored the measures for sustainability with the participants.
In the interaction, Ms. Anita Negri emphasized the importance of being young “sustainability leaders”. The present experts stressed that the sustainability mindset is amongst the necessary elements to be integrated in education to encourage change agents who are able to tackle challenges and foster a better local environment for all.
During the discussion, participants demonstrated their interest and some efforts taking place to implement sustainability-related plans and projects. The seminar encouraged a further and long-term collaboration with participants who understood the holistic concept of the term.
